Dr. T. Albert, Prof. Dr. M. Pfeffer

42 hours (7x6 hours), every wednesday morning

Within the VPH track a variety of topics in the form of lectures, practical laboratory work, theoretical group work, field trips, and case discussions will be presented, loaded and compiled.

Learning objectives:

Descriptive and practical mediation of in-depth aspects of veterinary activity in animal disease control, animal welfare, consumer protection, critical assessment and evaluation of hygiene conditions in food-producing farms (meat, cheese, fish). Students should thereby be excited to own critical opinion making in order to be better prepared for these often conflict-prone situations in later professional life according to the motto "from the practice - for practice".
